tips for parents

The members of EDAN, many of whom have an addict in their own family, have created “Tips For Parents” to provide parents with “tools” to talk with their children about the dangers of drug use, and how to make quality life decisions and learn to avoid peer pressure. We believe prevention is the best defense!

Regrettably, some of you will discover too late, that you already have an addict in the family. EDAN members have been there! We have dealt with the stigma society puts on families who have an addict. We hope to help you learn where you can receive help for your addict, but it is also vitally important to find peace of mind for yourself and your family. We have people you can speak with and who have been there!

Please look over our website. If you still feel the need to speak to someone in person, we are here to help. Don’t hesitate to give us a call!
